AI is already part of fashion professionals’ everyday lives. From executives to domain specialists, the majority of us turn to AI tools at home and at work. But only a quarter of the industry trusts the output of AI enough to base a critical decision on top of, and as a result even the most potentially powerful tools still sit off to the side of the industry’s technology estate.
Published earlier this summer, The AI Report 2026 explored those questions through industry survey findings, brand perspectives, in-house storytelling, and interviews with technology leaders. Everyone’s perspective varies, but the universal truth is that fashion brands currently trust AI the most at the beginning and the ends of the product journey, and the least as it gets closer to technical design, product development, and production.
Our upcoming webinar will build on the report and our accompanying essay, Arm’s Length AI, bringing in perspectives from three senior executives in very different areas of the technology landscape to spotlight where AI is delivering value today, and what it’ll take to translate ubiquitous adoption into deeper transformation and longer-term trust.
Ben Hanson, Editor-in-Chief at The Interline, will host and moderate a conversation with:
- Rupert Schiessl, Chief Strategy & AI Officer, Bamboo Rose
- Vlad Mulhem, CEO & Co-Founder, Voxelo
- Brian Lindauer, CEO, VibeIQ

Ben will put the report’s findings, along with perspectives synthesised from across our recent slate of AI-focused podcast interviews, to Rupert, Vlad, and Brian. Together, they’ll aim to answer the following questions:
- What makes an AI output reliable enough to act on, and how can fashion teams build confidence through everyday use?
- What product data, commercial context, permissions, and oversight do brands need to move beyond isolated tools and pilots?
- How can AI help teams choose what to develop, source, and sell, and spot ideas worth stopping before costs and commitments grow?
- Where do 3D capture and generative AI complement each other, and how can brands make sure the content shoppers and AI agents rely on stays faithful to the product?
- How do we measure progress beyond faster output and nebulous efficiency, and choose which tasks to delegate and automate, and how to prioritise human taste and judgment?
