Bamboo Rose Helps URBN Make Faster Product Decisions with Expanded TotalPLM™ Deployment

URBN adds Create, powered by VibeIQ and enhanced with Decision Intelligence, to assess estimated costs and margin potential at the concept stage.

BOSTON – 28 October 2026 – Bamboo Rose has announced that global lifestyle company URBN is expanding its use of TotalPLM™ with Create, powered by VibeIQ and enhanced with Decision Intelligence.

According to the release, the addition gives design and merchandising teams across URBN’s portfolio – which includes Anthropologie, Free People, FP Movement, Urban Outfitters, Nuuly and Terrain – visibility into estimated product costs at the concept stage, before samples are made or suppliers are engaged.

A longtime Bamboo Rose customer, URBN uses TotalPLM for product development, sourcing, purchase orders and global trade management. With Create and Decision Intelligence, design and merchandising teams can see initial cost estimates as concepts take shape, helping them assess margin potential, compare options and make decisions earlier. The company says approved concepts move directly into development without rekeying data.

Bamboo Rose positions earlier cost visibility as a way for teams to weigh trade-offs before investing in development, against a backdrop of changing tariffs, sourcing pressures and margin expectations. It says this can reduce the risk of costly redesigns, supplier changes or dropped products.

“Bringing our design and development workflows together on one platform allows everyone to act on the same information in real time,” said Dan Stockbridge, Director of Production and Sourcing Systems at URBN. “Bamboo Rose helps us simplify our day-to-day workflow and see costs earlier, so our teams can move faster and spend more time focused on great design.”

“Creative decisions shape margins long before a purchase order is placed,” said Matt Stevens, CEO of Bamboo Rose. “Decision Intelligence unlocks the value of historical data and automatically surfaces key insights within design, product development, and sourcing workflows. This enables companies like URBN to optimize margins earlier, reduce rework, and move promising ideas into development faster and with greater confidence.”

Bamboo Rose will also showcase TotalPLM at NRF 2027 in January at booth #4042. Further information is available on its NRF 2027 event page.
