Boggi Milano’s challenge
Operating 235 stores in more than 61 countries, Boggi Milano has a strong global presence in Italy, France, Germany, the UK, the USA and many other countries across the world. This Italian brand has made quality its hallmark from the very beginning.
Not only that: along with its pursuit of excellence, the brand has always placed great importance on innovation, technology and sustainability.
To meet the demands of this challenging global business context and its plans for expansion, Boggi Milano chose to increase its investment in innovation to elevate its product offering while constantly monitoring and optimizing the efficiency of its supply chain operations.

Finally, the cloud platform used for the Kubix Link processes provides the basis for linking communications and interactions within an organization. It puts all data and key information at the fingertips of internal and external users in real time, making cooperation more fluid and efficient. With the support of Lectra’s experts, customers can benefit from almost unlimited configurations of its functionalities to create a solution that reflects their own business model.
The result
To meet the brand’s needs as adequately as possible, the Lectra and Boggi Milano teams worked closely together, achieving results in record time. The initial phases of analysis began in September 2023 and by February 2024 the product databases of the brand’s core products were ready, at the same time as the first releases were made. In June 2024, the first season that was managed entirely via this PLM solution was launched, the Fall/Winter25 (F/W25) collection.
“The introduction of the PLM system, which was a team effort involving many departments within the company, including IT, Purchasing and Production, was undoubtedly the first step in a broader innovation plan,” states Luigi Barra, Chief Operations Officer at Boggi Milano.
The company did not have to wait long to see results. Boggi Milano has already managed three collection plans using Kubix Link and is now looking into the possibility of using the solution to manage the data of its subsidiaries located in different parts of the world. Another record achieved is the management of 2,500 SKUs, which equates to 1,200 finished products, and 1,500 raw materials in use to date.
“There’s a whole host of figures that we could highlight to demonstrate what an immense success the project has been. Besides data management, it’s the effect it has had on our people and our ability to work as a single team that has made the biggest difference”, says Fulvio Quagliarelli, Production Planning Manager at Boggi Milano.
Regarding next steps, Ezio Venditti, Production Manager at Boggi Milano says: “Our future plan is to consolidate integration with our suppliers across the globe. We will facilitate the implementation of 3D prototyping and use the Kubix Link platform to improve environmental sustainability.”
