For more than 20 years, Amina Razvi has worked to transform the apparel and textile industry into one that is more sustainable, equitable, and just. As CEO of the Sustainable Apparel Coalition (SAC), the leading global multi-stakeholder nonprofit alliance for the consumer goods industry dedicated to transforming business for exponential impact through groundbreaking tools, collaborative partnerships, and trusted leadership for industry sustainability, Amina is responsible for the overall leadership and management of the organization. Under her stewardship, the SAC has grown to represent more than 50% of the apparel, footwear, and textile industry, including more than 280 retailers, brands, manufacturers, NGOs, academics, and other stakeholders. Their mandate is clear: Transform the industry into a force for good by measuring and addressing social and environmental impact along the entire value chain.
