Amira Jehia is Founding Executive Director of drip by drip, the first NGO focused exclusively on water justice in the fashion industry. Her work sits at the intersection of water, human rights and global fashion and textile supply chains, supporting brands to address water risk where it occurs, in textile-producing regions. Since 2018, Amira has led locally driven water, sanitation, health and menstrual and hygiene-related women’s health projects across Pakistan, Bangladesh and India, delivering measurable improvements in access to clean water, health and worker wellbeing. She works closely with brands, suppliers and grassroots organisations to translate ESG commitments and due diligence requirements into real-world action. Amira is a regular speaker on water stewardship, supply-chain accountability and the social and ecological impacts of fashion’s water footprint.
